#80. MORE MEMORIAL PLAQUES
Just when I think I’ve found them all, I come across more touching memorial plaques in Washington Square Park. Small metal rectangles affixed to the back slats of park benches.
Each honors a life or a time gone but not forgotten.
Here’s the third batch I found.
- “Loyal – Adventurous – Principled Father, Friend, and Grandfather”
- “Going home, going home, by the waterside I’ll rest my bones”
- “Forever our Angel”
- “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure You’re loved beyond words and missed beyond measure”
- “Generous spirit -- Hearty Laugh -- Best Friend”
- “With gratitude for this park, where we raised our children to embrace the free spirit and fun that has endured through the decades.”
